Tanya Lujan
Owner, Bilingual Speech- Language Pathologist and Certified Orofacial Myologist
I attended Abilene Christian University for undergraduate work with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and attained my Master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2011. My experience includes working in public and private schools, home health, outpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities. I started the pediatric outpatient speech therapy clinic at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa, TX in June of 2014, before starting our specialized speech and feeding practice. I have experience in working with a variety of neurogenic and acquired diseases and disorders that affect our human communication abilities, eating/swallowing and quality of life. I love seeing stroke patients regain their communication and feeding, it is my passion. I am the only dually certified “Speech-language pathologist, and Certified Orofacial Myologist” in West Texas currently.

Lindsey
Speech-Language Pathologist
Hi my name is Lindsey Palmer and I was born in Odessa, Texas and raised in Midland, Texas. I received my Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and my Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. Throughout my graduate clinical experience, I spent time working in a private practice, an elementary school, a pediatric outpatient rehab facility, and an in-patient rehab facility. After completing my first round of clinicals here at West Texas Speech, I just couldn't wait to graduate and come back here to work and continue to learn about feeding and other myofunctional disorders. On the weekends you can find me curled up on the couch with my yorkie, at the lake, or playing golf with my husband.

I moved to Texas to attend Baylor University and received a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. One of my areas of interest is AAC. Throughout my experience in pediatric home health, outpatient hospital, and the schools, I have had experience providing comprehensive AAC assessments, coaching, and treatment. I also have additional training and experience with pediatric feeding and swallowing. I really value patient and family centered care. I have a husband and sweet goldendoodle puppy, Tex. My husband is a high school football coach so fall and football season is my favorite time of year. Jocelyne
Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
My name is Jocelyne, and I am bilingual speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA). I was born in Mexico and raised in Odessa, Tx. My nephew was diagnosed with Autism when he was 3 years old and has fueled my passion for the field of speech-pathology ever since! I attended the University of Texas at Austin and received my Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have experience working with pediatrics and adults in home health, outpatient private clinics, and non-profit organizations. Throughout my career I have been involved in several research studies focusing on stuttering, language brokering in Mexican children, and aphasia. I completed an AAC focused program in Chiang Mai, Thailand and implemented sustainable and culturally relevant AAC interventions for children with autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. I collaborate with ACCESS to develop presentations on my career as an SLPA for middle school students across Ector ISD in hopes to expose students to this field and improve the percentage of kids going to college in the area. In my spare time, you can find me cooking for my loved ones, doing yoga, and making ceramics! Helping individuals gain the ability to communicate gives so much joy and I'm extremely grateful to be a part of such an amazing team here at West Texas Speech Therapy!
